Motivator, mentor, pastor, and friend, Bishop Daniel B. Bland is respected and called upon by many. He is the Senior Pastor of Revival Church located in New Haven & Hamden, Connecticut. Since his appointment in 2012, Revival Church has become a thriving & innovative multigenerational church, whose congregation continues to grow in both size and spirit.

 

Bishop Bland is mostly known for his passionate and prophetic approach to preaching and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As a highly sought after conference speaker, God deposited within him a mandate to equip and empower the lives of believers across the globe. Bishop Bland serves the Episcopacy of the Mount Calvary Holy Church of America, as the Jurisdictional Bishop of Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island.

  

He often considers himself privileged to serve the Lord's Church by providing regional oversight and pastoral instruction to senior leaders and their congregations. In 2016, Archbishop Alfred Owens Jr. appointed Bishop Bland as the International Director of Youth & Young Adult Ministry. As International Director Bishop Bland provides cutting edge ministry solutions and strategies to emerging youth and young adult leaders across the United States, Trinidad, Barbados, Africa & the United Kingdom.


In addition to his service to the local and national church, he is an avid social services practitioner and advocate. With over a decade of experience and expertise, he can often be found: providing counseling and guidance to at risk youth involved within the Juvenile Justice system, advocating for the essential needs of individuals living with HIV and AID’s, and providing consultation and training for nonprofit organizations, executive leadership teams, and community practitioners.


Bishop Bland’s desire to Serve God, by Serving God’s people has been recognized on both the National and Local level. In 2007 he was asked to serve as the Advisor & Professor of Gospel Choirs & Choruses at the University of New Haven, In 2014 he was named the Connecticut Gospel Music Awards Pastor of the Year, and most recently in 2015 he became the recipient of Connecticut 100 Men of Color Award, and received the Albertus Magnus College Alumni Premier Achievement Award for his dedicated work with the marginalized and underserved. Bishop Bland is married to Lady Melonie K. Bland and is also a singer & songwriter.

Lady Melonie K. Bland was born on the beautiful island of Jamaica in the West Indies. She was raised by her maternal grandparents, Millicent Mathews and Roy Bennett along with a host of aunts, uncles and cousins in Jamaica before reuniting with her mother, Joan Eccleston in the United States. Lady Bland matriculated through the magnet school system and graduated from Central Magnet High School, where she was awarded numerous awards for being a student leader, president of the community service club, and other academic accomplishments.

 

Lady Bland went on to obtain a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Communications and Psychology from Albertus Magnus College in 2005. While at Albertus, Lady Bland was granted numerous leadership opportunities through Student Government, the Office of Residential Life, the Admissions Office and the Office of Student Affairs. In 2005 she was named Student Leader of the Year for the College and achieved a host of other awards and recognitions upon graduation. Albertus Magnus College is also where Lady Bland met Pastor Bland and their 7 years courtship, blossomed into a lifelong marriage on May 29th, 2010.

Directly after graduating from Albertus Magnus College, Lady Bland was awarded a full scholarship to attend the University of New Haven and she obtained her Master’s Degree in Community Psychology in 2007. While at the University of New Haven Lady Bland also worked in the Office of Residential Life, was a substitute teacher and interned at the Wallingford Youth and Social Service Bureau as a therapist.

Upon graduation from The University of New Haven, Lady Bland worked at Eastern CT State University for a year in the Office of Residential Life, specifically with first year students. Since that time, Lady Bland has been working more directly in her field of psychology with at-risk youths and their families by providing family therapy and suicide/homicide crisis intervention services. Lady Bland has a keen love for working with broken and at-risk families, believing whole heartedly that “when the problem can be addressed at home and when families are given the right tools to make a difference, our youth can have a fighting chance, and families can be healed and made whole.” Therefore, Lady Bland can be seen throughout the state at various schools, detention facilities, courts and probation offices; meeting with various officials advocating for our youth, truly believing that our future rests in the services we are willing to provide this generation today and order to secure a promising tomorrow.

 

Lady Bland stands with her husband, Pastor Daniel Bland in ministry at the Mt. Calvary Revival Center and enjoys being the Leading Lady of the ministry, believing that God has equipped her for such a time as this! Locally, Lady Bland enjoys working with the women and youth ministries, believing in the power of self-worth, self-love and self-acceptance by teaching and modeling biblical standards and showing God’s love to all. Lady Bland is also a member of the International Board of First Ladies through the Mt. Calvary Holy Churches of America, where she has the opportunity to work with International First Lady Co-Pastor Susie Owens on various projects for the organization.

 

In her spare time, Lady Bland enjoys being with her friends and family, traveling, shopping, baking and running. Lady Bland also works on the Board of Governs at Albertus Magnus College.

With humble beginnings as a promoter for various events on the college campus of Southern Connecticut State University, it became very clear to all that AP Larnel Satchell had found his niche! Business owners and investors also noticed his skill set and began seeking his assistance and consultations on how to increase their business, obtain marketing analysis and more! In addition, AP Satchell began successfully promoting locally and touring plays, concerts and various fundraisers with some of the country’s top national recording artist and actors.

 

With AP Satchell’s popularity building, he ventured into gospel radio stations throughout Long Island, CT, and MA. Here is where he enhanced his skills by conducting various marketing and media relations campaigns to include statewide advertising blitz, countrywide surveys to enhance listener ships and more! By creating and seeking out advertisements for the station, he also increased his relationship with the community, community agencies, churches and local media connections, not to mention engineering, writing and producing commercials and promo spots.

 

Becoming an on-air personality and voice for one of the largest cities and the state’s capital, was the icing on the cake that propelled AP Satchell into the place of influence. This also gave him a national recognition as he served in the largest gospel music arenas in the country as a national officer within Gospel Music Workshop of American, the Gospel Announcers Guild! To date, Mr. Satchell continues to promote various national tours and plays coming through the tri-state area, to serve as confirmation to what the community says, “if it’s coming through this area, check with AP Satchell first!”

 

AP Satchell has consulted 100’s of churches and community business in marketing strategies and professional development. AP Satchell has been successful in accessing them to be more proficient in managing the manifest of their vision or mission. It’s the heart of him that drives to help leaders do better Kingdom Business.  

 

Currently, AP Satchell is still one of the most sought after for business consulting, marketing guru, preacher, master of ceremonies, event promoter, and small business developer in the region!  AP Satchell is pursuing a Master’s Degree in Management and Organizational Leadership

 

AP Satchell is a Partner with his brother in The LAS Group which is the umbrella of LAS Productions which handles the promoting and DJ services; LAS Media Group which handles FAITHblasts and LAS Consulting.

 

AP Satchell serves joyfully as the Associate Pastor under the Pastoral leadership of Bishop-Designate Daniel B. Bland of the Mt. Calvary Revival Center, located in New Haven, CT.  His foundational years were spent under the leadership of the Late Bishop Kenneth H. Moales, Sr. of the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit; Bishop Jasper Rolle of Abundant Life; Bishop Arlonzo Boswell and the Late Pastor LeRoy Belcher of Greater Refuge Church of Christ; and his grandfather the Late Pastor Winthrop Huyghue of A. O. H. Church of God.

 

AP Satchell is blessed with four beautiful and amazing children, three priceless daughters, Sydney Chanel, Larnise’ Ansje and Larnee Andrea, and one invaluable son, Larnel Andre II. He is married for over 20 years to his queen, Lorretta L. Satchell.
